Sinopsis :

Berlatar cerita di dunia Flonyard, Bumi alternatif yang dihuni oleh makhluk yang menyerupai manusia, tetapi memiliki telinga dan ekor hewan. Republik Biscotti, persatuan warga yang mirip anjing, telah diserang oleh pasukan kucing Galette Leo Knight. Dalam upaya menyelamatkan Biscotti, Putri Millhiore memanggil “Champion” dari dunia lain untuk memperjuangkan rakyatnya. Champion itu adalah Cinque Izumi, seorang siswa SMP biasa dari Bumi. Cinque pun mengambil senjata suci Palladion dan bersiap untuk perang. Di Flonyard, perang dilakukan tanpa korban dan lebih mirip seperti kompetisi olahraga dengan tujuan mengumpulkan uang untuk kerajaan yang berpartisipasi.
